Birdwatching Blog

Linda Lunna is  a Vermont resident and writer where she lives on a 128 acre farm in the Green Mountains region of the state.  Sally Wickham,  an artist and  part-time Vermont  resident, cultivates additional acreage  that adjoins the Lunna Farm.  The  two women have been friends and neighbors for almost forty years.  There is a wonderful variety of birds here and the land offers several different types of bird habitat including residential; agricultural; hardwoods; softwoods; and wetlands. For the past decade their land has been managed to be a bird friendly place.  Linda and Sally team up to use their skills as an artist and a writer to learn  about the birds that inhabit and/or pass through their home territory.
